Customer Review: Great Pressure cooker: 4 stars because....
Most everything about this pressure cooker is excellent and I think anyone who hasn't tried pressure cooking using Lorna Sass's great cookbooks or the recipes and techniques With pressure cookers I have found that I can meet or beat the cooking times with my microwave which came as a surprise. The only quibble I have with it is the fact that parts and accessories are not readily available (as with all other competing brands of pressure cookers.) If you do want parts you must look for them online if they are not stocked in your local store such as Macy's otherwise I would have rated this 5 stars! I am in the Concord, CA area where the product was available but not the gaskets so I had to look online for them. I found out quickly that all parts including extra after cooking lids, the pressure release valve, pressure regulators, safety and handle parts can be purchased along with the backup gaskets from Fagor directly by mail with the insert that comes with the pressure cooker by looking up your model number. If any retailers are reading this, listen up! Your customers want to be able to buy after-market parts, is a gasket and pressure regulator basic enough?
